Sandy Cove Ministries

Sandy Cove hosted a business networking event for us. The building was beautifully designed, the staff were friendly and helpful, and the conference room was gorgeous. It was a full-house and there was a great view of the water. They also provided pastries and drinks that were delicious. We were truly blessed and are grateful for their hospitality.

I stayed in a cabin for four days with my teens and it was the most relaxing vacation I've ever taken. The property is beautiful and the staff is friendly and professional. There were so many fun activities for my kids and me to do together, and so many quiet spaces to relax and do bible study or just hang out and talk. I had a great time and will come again next year.

In May, we attend our chuch weekend retreat. It's a beautiful place but it's apparent that they are optimizing for the absolute lowest cost of food and staff. At meals, the salad bar was pitiful and the one entree I could eat, baked tilapia, was overcooked and tasteless. The vegetables were listless. No other meal offered a main meal without meat. I had expected the choices to be limited so I brought hard-boiled eggs, tuna in a pouch, some protein bars and some apples and oranges (good thing I did--it's just about all I ate). The breakfast bar actually had canned fruit! There were no eggs--hard boiled or any other. My companions told me the bacon was inedible. The breakfast sandwiches were marginal. The one exception, we had an add-on tray for our meeting room (fresh fruit, and fresh-baked cookies) that was wonderful. Could that have been the same kitchen? The net result is that if the church tries to go there again, my family will probably opt out... and that's sad because the overall facility is great. It has been recently renovated, has comfortable accommodations, great meeting space and it was such a beautiful venue (not unlike eastern point). And we enjoyed hanging out with our church friends. Everything about Sandy Cove is great--except the food. What a shame! I would gladly pay more for better food.

Beautiful location. Great staff. Lots of activities for the kids. Rooms were clean. I must mention that the food was very disappointing. Limited options, few fresh ingredients, terrible presentation. For what people pay, could be much better. Disc golf course, Gaga ball, and Pool tables were all favorites. If you want a quiet escape, this was nice one.

Was a blessed time.. Didn't stay over this time, but last time was great!! All staff warm, forbear ing, compassionate, and loving. Was an honor to be there. Went for women's weekend and I heard wonderful preaching, had great fellowship, but was most blessed by how I saw staff members lovingly come beside guests and one another to serve and love the way He calls us to. Praises to you all for being the church and His body in this way. Blessings over your physical structure, future, and ministry you provide.. Hallelujah! Thank you all🥰
